Follow the paths around the zoo and meet lots of outdoor play on your way! There is a huge range of outdoor play to discover from Trampolines to our Termite Mound, Welly Splash and our famous Elephant Butt Slide! We also have accessible play equipment, such as a wheelchair-accessible roundabout.

Our Play Barn is full of exciting indoor play, from our Rainbow Slide to Arkiventures. We also have an Under 5’s Soft Play area. To find out more, click the link below:

We have over 100 different species of animals at Noah's Ark, from gentle Giraffes to carnivorous African Lions, from fluffy Rabbits to giant African Elephants.

Watch our majestic birds of prey in our new Wings of Wonder flying display. The display takes place daily at 12:30 pm on the flying field (Rhino Hill). Please note that there may be occasions when the flying display is held inside, within the Ark Arena. This will be signposted and announced on the day of your visit.

The Great British Wildlife Maze is the longest and wildest hedge maze in the UK. A wild and wonderful 3.4km (2.1miles) hedge maze! With an interactive trail and fun wildlife questions, maze explorers can navigate the maze, climb the nest tower and finish with a slide back down.


Enhance your visit with some of our added extras that are available to purchase either on or prior to your visit:
- Encounters can be bought online, prior to your visit. We are currently running our popular Giant Tortoise encounters. Spend 20 minutes behind the scenes with our keepers and the Giant Tortoises, learning about their personalities!
- Animal food and bird food are available in the Gift Shop for just £1.50.
- Try your hand at digging and scooping with the electric bigger diggers by the Lions for only £1
- A big day out at the zoo can work up an appetite! Head to our various kiosks or restaurant to keep those hunger pangs at bay.
